Since I had my kid in 2013, in those moments when i feel like my making art will never happen again, I've regularly done these series of exhaustion/defiance drawings with all the crayons and felt-tip pens she collects then doesn't use anymore — the abandoned ones. I don't care what they look like but they feel desperately important to make.
